The South Carolina Hispanic Business Directory is a creation and publication of Hispanic Connections, Inc. The purpose of this Directory is to meet the information needs of the rapidly growing Hispanic community throughout the state.
The S.C. Hispanic Business Directory is a listing of Hispanic business owners and agents, grouped into four sections: the Upstate; the Midlands; Pee Dee-Myrtle Beach and the Low Country. In each section, the businesses are organized alphabetically and categorically, enabling one to find the type of business services needed. This makes the Directory a unique reference book for the entire community throughout the state.
The Directory also has a section with basic community information such as how to apply for a drivers license, a building permit, a listing of medical and legal services, a listing of educational services such as English as a Second Language and other educational programs available to the community, public services such as food banks and government agencies: the Human Relations Commission, the Consumer Affairs, and many other institutions serving the community.
Obviously the Hispanic Business Directory is never complete or finished. The Directory is a living document reflecting the tremendous growth of this community. Our goal at Hispanic Connections, Inc. is to update the listing and expand the area of service with every new edition of the South Carolina Hispanic Business Directory.
To benefit Hispanic consumers and marketers as well as members of the South Carolina business community at large, Hispanic Connections, Inc., is pleased to present this directory. Hispanic Connections, Inc., wishes to thank everyone involved in its production.
Contigo Magazine is a Spanish publication written by Hispanic Connections, Inc. to advise, inform, educate, and entertain the Hispanic community in South Carolina. The name "Contigo" (literally: "with you") was chosen to reflect the organization's commitment to communicating with, and serving, the Hispanic population.
